Lisa Horgan - The Dog Training Specialist
Lisa Horgan is a game based positive dog trainer and agility coach. She is a member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) and Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT). Lisa has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of dog training, dog sports and dog care. She continues her professional development by attending educational seminars and hands-on workshops.
Lisa has been training dogs since she was a young child in Australia. She has always had an affinity for animals of all kind. Clients tell her that she speaks "dog" very well. Lisa won't disagree with that statement, however, she will add another to it. Lisa would tell you that the biggest part of dog training is speaking "human"! Lisa has worked and apprenticed for several different training professionals throughout her career. She has a broad knowledge of multiple methods of dog training. Her most profound experince was under the tutelage of Jodi Keller of Kellers Canine Academy.
Lisa is an avid sports competitor. She has titled her six year old rescue dog in AKC, UKI, CPE and USDAA Agility. She holds accreditations with several different international organizations in the dog agility and training world.
